Our aim is to provide the highest quality bespoke service for each and every one of our clients. We believe that by working together with our clients and their families, we can provide the care and support that our clients WANT at a time that THEY want it. We have an open door policy for, with management on hand 24/7 to answer any questions. We also have technology that allows transparency and ease of communication on a day to day basis.
OUR CARE AND SUPPORT TEAM:
We ensure that we have only the highest quality care and support team. We have a rigorous recruitment and selection process, and we will only ever employ anyone that passes the ‘mum’ test – Would I trust the carer to look after my mum? And only if the answer is ‘yes’ will they be asked to join our close knit team.
Domiciliary Care
For many of the people we support, it’s the everyday tasks that are either simply not possible, or cause frustration and anxiety.
Dementia Care
Dementia is scary and isolating for both the person with Dementia and their loved ones.
Palliative Care
Palliative care, also known as end of life care, is specialised support for those suffering from terminal illnesses. It focuses on relieving people of their symptoms and easing the pain and stress of their illness.
Social Isolation and Companionship
At Pinewoods Homecare we firmly believe that loneliness and a lack of activity are major catalysts in the deterioration of health. We provide companionship for our service users and organise activities to give them a sense of purpose; something to look forward to.
Domestic Services
What many perceive as simple domestic tasks can prove to be a physical and psychological burden for people with disabilities or mental health issues.
Heath and Beauty
We organise hair and beauty sessions for our service users in their own home, through qualified practitioners that we know well and can rely upon.
Home care is an increasingly preferred alternative to being admitted to hospitals or residential facilities. Pinewoods Homecare understands first- hand the benefits of receiving care and support at home and being looked after through a care program that has been tailored to the individual’s specific needs. Whatever the individual needs may be, Pinewoods Homecare provide 24 hour support, 365 days a year, that allows adults in need of support to remain at home with dignity and the comfort of familiar surroundings.
We have over 30 years experience providing care in the local community in a residential setting through our sister care homes Locharwoods (Formby and Birkdale). We understand though that residential care is not for everyone which is why we want to utilise our knowledge and experience in the community.
We are not a franchise! We are a locally run company with someone at the end of the phone 24/7 365 days a year. We offer a bespoke person-centered service whereby YOU tell us what YOU want and not the other way around.
We will match our clients with a carer/team member based on shared interests and experience. If at any point you feel that this match isn’t working we are happy to change at any time. We don’t do 15 minute visits! Our preferred minimum visit time is one hour but we will work with you to devise a schedule that is suitable for you
ensuring it fits around your lifestyle. We carry out regular quality assurance visits and phone calls as well as spot checks to make sure that we always provide the highest quality service.
